General principles

11bastions is not a news system, it doesn’t pretend to cover any domain of narrative, it doesn’t have regular issues, it doesn’t belong to professionals.

11bastions doesn’t have any profit purpose.

11bastions doesn’t advertise any commercial product.

The goal of 11bastions is to create a cluttered archive, for a cultural purpose. It doesn’t aspire to have many daily visits.

That’s why 11bastions doesn’t collect informations about its visitors, doesn’t need to take advantage form other intellectual works, doesn’t put any commercial right around the published works.

Privacy policy

What personal data we (don’t) collect

11bastions doesn’t collect informations about the visitors, in any way.

The visitors can’t sign-up, sign-in, upload files, edit contents, comment or send informations in any way. This means that we don’t need and don’t want to identify the visitors. Visitors are read-only unknown visitors. Every visit to every page or parts of them is a separate, read-only task.

Comments, media, likes, contact forms

The visitors can’t leave comments, can’t upload media, can’t submit likes, stars or any other feedback, can’t fill contact forms.

Analytics

There’s no analytics.

Cookies

There are no cookies.

For this reason, we don’t bother you asking if you approve the use of cookies. There’s nothing to approve.

Since cookies gather a huge fury, here are tools to verify that there are no cookies in this website:

The Google Chrome browser users using local tools to check the cookies could find a cookie under the gstatic.com domain. This is a well know behaviour of the Google Chrome browser and it doesn’t belong to 11bastions.net.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

IP addresses

In any communication, including the network communications, the address of the requester is necessary to provide a response. That’s why your IP addresses appear in the server logs.

The IP address can’t be used to identify a visitor, except if in combination with other informations. We don’t do this (and we don’t have the tools!) because we are not interested in the identification.

11bastions uses the network support of Cloudflare. Cloudflare is a very popular service, also because it offers free products, and it is supposed to be trusted by 2 millions of websites.

Cloudflare works as a reverse proxy. This means that the requests don’t rich our servers, but they all come from the Cloudflare infrastructure, that is in the middle. Your IP address, so, is known only to Cloudflare. Their policy is to delete the server logs after 4 hours. So, in short, your IP address is kept in the Cloudflare servers for 4 hours, then deleted.

What rights you have over your data

We don’t have your data.

If you think anyway, that our behaviour is against your laws and even your preferences, please believe to our good intentions and contact ten.snoitsab11null@ofni immediately.

Contents

11bastions has many photos and videos, and in many of them there are people. People with a public life, like artists, shop keepers, activists, may also have their name mentioned. The majority of them are personal contacts and approve the work. If you recognize yourself in some of the article and you don’t want it, please inform ten.snoitsab11null@ofni and the unwanted contents will be removed immediately.
